Rabbi David Azulai was born in Fez, Morocco, in 1958, a scion of a distinguished family of “Talmidei Chachamim” (Torah Scholars). From a young age, he studied under the greatest Kabbalists of his time. His father, recognizing his immense potential, foresaw his son’s unique spiritual gift to bestow effective blessings. Rabbi Azulai dedicated his early years to boundless diligence in Torah study and the service of HaShem, devoting much of his time to prayer at the Western Wall.
