Mysticism, Symbolism and a Talisman
Humanity uses various symbols, numbers, characters and written signs for communication and learning. Most of them are used by scientists in order to explain natural phenomena and physical processes. However, science still fails to explain the universe. There have been many attempts to do that, but scientists still agree that universe put in numbers and formulas does not make sense. This is when mysticism comes in handy.
Mysticism serves as a connection between the world we see and the supernatural hidden part of it. Most protective Kabbalah talismans have symbols on them. The person who makes a talisman uses symbolic engravings to reveal the kabbalistic presentation of the world, events, energies and powers. The symbols on a talisman can reveal the nature of things which cannot be proven scientifically but can be perceived by a human mind. Preserving the original meaning of symbols is important as they contain references to the invisible world and can be misinterpreted or not used properly if the meaning is lost.
