Meditation in Kabbalah

Healing, Jewish mysticism, Kabbalah - Kabbalistic

Meditation allows us to look inside of our own selves and see our inner worlds closely. The spiritual nature of meditation allowed it to be accepted as one of the common practices in Kabbalah. Meditation for a cabbalist is like a prayer for a believer. In fact cabbalists combine praying and meditating at the beginning and the end of every day.

Meditation in Kabbalah is the way of getting closer to the divine spark in our selves and to the universe. By doing that, Kabbalah adherents also get closer to God before saying a prayer. Even a short meditation can provide deeper relaxation, observation and spiritual enlightenment - the way to concentrate one’s mind and soul upon God.
Thanks to such practices Kabbalah adherents are able to achieve a feeling of closeness and unity with God. Cabbalists believe that this feeling of spiritual bond with God allows us to almost imagine the unimaginable God and to nearly understand his divine essence that, according to Kabbalah, stands beyond the grasp of the human mind.
